DESCRIPTION

Essiespice is the creation of culinary cognoscente, Essie Bartels. Her love affair with spices began as a little girl, helping her mom cook with recipes passed down through generations. As Essie’s experiments with spices grew, so did the demand for her homemade sauces that will uniquely flavor any home-cooked meal.
On every jar of Essiespice you’ll see an African map with the star of Ghana and an Adinkra symbol, both important parts of Essie’s heritage. On Shrimptastic is the Adinkra: Ananse Ntontan which symbolizes wisdom, creativity and the complexities of life, for the long journey it took to get here. We’re happy you’re here, and hope you love Essiespice flavors as much as we do.
