Girl Supreme (Supporting and Uplifting our Peers while Receiving Encouragement and Mastering Excellence) is different from other mentoring programs because we offer PEER mentoring in a group online setting. Often times youth are not comfortable expressing their fears and challenges to adults, and would be more inclined to open up to other youth who they feel they can better relate to. Under adult supervision, youth present different topics to the group that correspond with challenges they feel girls face facing in their lives. Under this format, the participants are also learning leadership skills. Within this group forum, the adult facilitators will help guide the conversations to ensure the topics are being presented in the most beneficial manner, and to provide any additional information
